This incredibly special car is just one of the 150 Defender V8 70th Editions that were produced by the Special Works dept. at Jaguar Land Rover Classic. This particular example benefits from the £5000 option of Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) and the rare colour option of Keswick Green. 

 

The car has never been driven and has been dry stored ever since a covered trailer delivery from the factory in December 2019, as new and perfect in every respect.

 

Ordered in the non-standard colour of Keswick Green at a cost of £3000, JLR Classic confirmed that this is the only Keswick Green example that has been built, making this particular car unique in one of the most desirable Defender Colours. The Keswick Green paintwork is complemented with a contrasting black roof and wheel arches. All-new 18 inch diamond-turned Sawtooth alloy wheels fitted with BF Goodrich all-terrain tyres purposefully complete the design of the 70th Edition.

 

Under the bonnet a 5.0 litre petrol Land Rover V8 engine delivers 400 BHP (405Ps) and 515Nm of Torque, allowing the Defender Works V8 to accelerate from 0-60mph in 5.6sec. The V8 power-train is complimented by an advance ZF 8-speed automatic gearbox with sport mode and quick-shift response, completing each gear change in 200 milliseconds. A dual-speed transfer box with automatic torque biasing centre differential, shifts up to 90% of torque to the front or rear axle as required, whilst a totally reconfigured suspension features improved springs and dampers.

 

The interior is beautifully trimmed in Black Windsor hide covering the dashboard, door panels, headlining. The RECARO sports seats trimmed in Black Taurus leather.

 

The infotainment system features Land Rover Classic’s newly-launched DAB Classic Radio, surround sound speakers, smartphone integration and GPS navigation. The car has additionally been fitted with a Category 5 tracker with separate key-fobs at a cost of over £1000.

 

The number plate V8 HBR was supplied by the factory and is included within the sale.
