We are welcomed by the stunning hotel the Palacio Arriliuce that overlooks the bay and mountains that surround Bilbao and Getxo. Dinner is set at one of the best restaurants in Bilbao where we have our welcome breifing that sets out the schedule of the coming days.
Bilbao to Cantabria
We start our driving out towards the majestic foothills of the Picos De Europa, some fantastic coastal roads help us on our way before we start delving into the windy roads of the Picos. Our hotel for the night has incredible views of the Picos and the Cantabrian Sea and offers fantastic local dishes.
Picos and wine region
Our day starts with us winding our way up into the Picos De Europa through incredible roads - a pure driving day of mountain regions and incredible scenery finishing the day off with windy roads into one of Spain's most famous wine regions. Our hotel for the next two nights offers an amazing spa experience and plenty of opportunity to sample local wine.
National park and vineyard loop
Today offers two fantastic options, you can indulge in the healing Spa's of the monestary and take part in a wine tasting session ensuring you are fully rested or you can take part in a fantatic driving loop that takes us through national parks and some scintilating roads.
Valbuena to Bilbao
Our last day of the tour, we head out from vineyard country and follow incredible roads through national parks and through the cantabrian mountain range back to Bilbao. We are welcomed back to one of our favourite hotels for a final dinner.
