4th May
We are welcomed by the stunning hotel the Palacio Arriluce that overlooks the bay and mountains that surround Bilbao and Getxo. Dinner is set at one of the best restaurants in Bilbao where we have our welcome briefing that sets out the schedule of the coming days.
5th May
Our first day of driving sees us depart Bilbao and take the mountain road through to the vineyard region. You can expect some fantastic mountain roads and then a huge change of scenery as we snake our way through one of Spain’s most popular vineyard regions to our second hotel that is home for the next two nights.
6th May
Today presents a lovely opportunity with an option of staying at the hotel for a rest day and enjoying wine tasting and spa activities or a loop that takes us through spectacular scenery and amazing roads.
7th May
We start the day by traversing through the beautiful wine country heading into the mountains that surround the beautiful region of Rioja. Rioja is surrounded by incredible roads, and we are blessed with one of the best driving days of the tour. Our journey finishes at one of the most magnificent hotels in the area synonymous with wine and architecture.
8th May
Our last driving day, we head north from Rioja passing through vineyads and into mountinous roads to reach our final destination. A fantastic route and a truly wonderful hotel for our final night together.
